MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
We receive many of the same questions regarding appointments, the industry in general and also our company. If you are new or semi experienced within the modeling industry we highly encourage you to take a moment and read the FAQ’s below so that you have a full understanding/are fully prepared with the information you need prior to your appointment.
What is Development? Development needs vary from talent to talent but can include some or all of the following: Skill Training, Business Industry Training, Tests Shoots, Portfolio Shoots, Trade/TFP Shoots.
At the successful completion of Development, we will have a meeting with each talent to discuss either in house Management or placement with outside agencies/management based on talent's location, marketability and goals.
Do I need previous experience to be considered for Development? No. The term “Development” within the modeling industry refers to the process of getting a new model ready to be marketable/bookable, perform at a professional level and be sent out for paying work or alternatively to adjust current marketing and improve level of skill.
What are the fees I can expect? Development fees are determined on a case by case basis. We use the in person assessment process and any current materials to determine what services are needed and not needed for a model to reach a marketable/professional level. We do not charge any commissions on freelance bookings or bookings through other representation you may have prior to working with Famous Talent.
Who pays the fees? The model is always responsible for paying any Development fees. We, the company, do not front money to cover development expenses so that we do not have to create loans or debt contracts with our models long term. Anyone selected for Development will be precisely quoted the services that are required at the time of selection.
