  • I have no previous experience, can I be evaluated?

Yes! We work with aspiring talent as well as seasoned professionals. If contacted, all fresh faces will require a evaluation determine if we find your look and personality marketable.

If any aspiring model is interested in being considered and is under the age of 18 they will need to attend their evaluation with their parent and have the full support of their family in order to move forward. We cannot work with an aspiring model under the age of 18 without parental consent and support.

Your evaluation is very simple and low pressure. You do NOT need to prepare anything for your evaluation.

  • I am a model who has already booked paying work, but I have no manager or agent, can I be considered?

Yes! If you have already booked paying professional work and have your working portfolio and resume, this means that you are definitely marketable. You will be evaluated based on your materials and previous experience for Management.

  • What is the definition of a Modeling Agency?

A Modeling Agency is a company that represents models who are ready to go on go see's and book paying work through their clients. They make a commission from any jobs you book. There are no fees to be represented by an agency. They will only take you on if you're marketable to their clients and marketable as an overall product.  Famous Talent Management is not a Modeling Agency, we are Management.

  • What is the definition of a Manager?

A Manager's job is not only facilitate their talent booking paying work but also to provide guidance. A manager helps new models find an agency that is the right fit for them.

  • Do I need to attend extensive Modeling Training in order to become a professional model?

While it is not a requirement within the industry that you participate in lengthy training, you will need a basic knowledge and a few skills under your belt in order to increase your odds of booking paying work and gaining representation who are excited to work with you. The more marketable and knowledgeable you are when you approach and agency, the more likely you are to be accepted. Often times talent can have amazing professional images but get to a booking and have no idea what they are doing. This leads to the client not hiring them in the future and the agent getting a bad review of their performance.

It's important to remember that the Fashion and Commercial Modeling industry is a business. You as the model are the product, and it is YOUR responsibility to be the best product you're capable of being!

  • What kind of models do you work with?

We work with both fashion and commercial models, standard size, petite and plus size, male and female.
It's important to understand that our demand for certain looks will change as different trends arise and agencies and clients needs change.

  • What age range do you work with?

We work with female talent ages 14 and up.  We work with male talent ages 16 and up (unless a male has already reached the height of 5'11" before age 16)

If you fall outside of these age ranges, there are always exceptions, however, you must APPEAR to be within this age range in order for Famous Talent Development to consider working with you.

  • How much money can I make as a Model?

There is such a large range of incomes and it depends on many factors! How often are you available for work? What are your skills? Etc. Models can make anywhere from $100 for a very low budget booking all the way up to $10,000/day and much more when you consider residual income and ongoing campaigns.

  • If I am referred to development, are there fees?

Yes. All new talent are always responsible for covering their own development costs. Development can consist of professional photos or head shots, training, industry education or a combination of these. Every talent is different, and will only be referred to the services that will result in them becoming management or agency ready.

There is still a lot of miseducation surrounding modeling fees. What you should NEVER pay for, is to be represented by an agent or manager. Charging fees for representing a talent is illegal. Again, do not pay for representation. All services besides representation and management will have fees.

  • My child is under 18 and still in high school, can they become a model without missing school?

Yes. Casting Calls and Agency meetings for talent under 18 will take place outside of traditional school hours.

  • What should I wear to my evaluation?

Females should wear/bring high heels. You may wear anything that you feel comfortable wearing, as long as it accurately allows us to see your general body shape. Males can wear whatever they feel comfortable in, however we do encourage everyone to be well put together. This is the first impression we will have of you, so make it a great one!

How soon after my evaluation will I know if Famous Talent Development is interested in working with me or my child?

We make all of our decisions the same day, unless we do not have enough openings remaining and we need to do call backs or wait-list any talent.

We are only looking for aspiring talent who are serious about starting their career and willing to put in the work. We know exactly what we're looking for and we have a combined 50 years of experience within the industry so it does not take us long to determine if you have the look and characteristics to be successful or not.
