Model Measurements
- All measurements must be ACCURATE AND CURRENT!
- Each time an agency, manager or casting director asks for your current measurements, retake them.

Model (and actor if applicable) Resume
- There are several resume formats that can be considered correct.
- Resume should be updated every time you book a paying job or participate in an unpaid project or test shoot. - Resume should be
an accurate representation of the work you have done.
- Do not lie on your resume and document bookings you have not done.

Work Permit and Performer Bank Account (only for talent under 18)

- All talent under 18 must have a Performer Work Permit from the state of NY
- All talent under 18 must have a Coogan Account (bank account for underage entertainers)
- Parents or legal guardians must be available as a point of contact for underage entertainers.
- A Parent or Legal Guardian is required to escort underage talent to casting and be present on set for all bookings unless otherwise
specified.

Difference between an Agency and Management
- An Agency will only be interested in accepting you if you are a full product.
- They will only take on talent who are ready to book paying work and in turn make them money from commissions. - Each Agency
will have a different client base and therefor different requirements
- Not every model will be the right fit for every Agency
- You may have to submit multiple times to the same Agency in order to be selected.
- Management will have a client base, but also working relationships with other Management and Agencies, this allows them to
submit their talent to a larger client base and a larger number of opportunities.
- Each Management Company or Manager will have a different client base and also a different network of industry connections.
- It may benefit a new model to be represented under a non exclusive contract with several agents and managers vs an exclusive
contract with one company. This is a case by case situation.

Identifying Factors of Legitimate and Non Legitimate Casting Calls

- ALWAYS be sure to completely understand the project details BEFORE accepting a booking. - The following should all be
CRYSTAL CLEAR: Location, time, date, rate, content of the project and usage (what the photos and/or video will be used for and
how)
- Does the project have residuals or is it a flat rate?
- Booking through large Casting Companies
- Booking through a smaller company or individual
- You should NEVER pay money to attend/schedule/walk in the door/open call/meet with an agent
